Too Young
The first time we met
Was shadowed by your passing
And from what I understand
Death is never planned.
For you, by what others say
With interest, beauty and sweetness
Took time to spread some joy
If only for a short time.
To wish I met you sooner
Is the only thing I give
And miss the time we could have shared
To meet you only sooner
I send this little passage
Until we meet again.

~ A Reason, A Season, A Lifetime ~
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet
a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a
difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you
physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a God send
and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to
be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and
force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been
met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has
been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it; it is real, but only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of
my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

~ Tomorrow ~
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I am not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
all filled with tears for me.
I know how much you love me
as much as I love you,
And each time you think of me
I know you'll miss me to.
But when tomorrow starts without me
please try to understand,
That Jesus came and called my name
and took me by the hand.
He said my place is ready
in heaven far above,
And that I have to leave behind
all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away
a tear fell from my eye,
For all my life I'd always thought
it wasn't my time to die.
I had so much to live for
and so much yet to do,
It seems almost impossible
that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared
and all the fun we had.
If I could have stayed for
just a little while,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realize
that this could never be,
For emptiness and memories
would take the place of me.
And when I thought of wordly things
that I'd miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you and when I did
my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through Heaven's gate
and felt so much at home,
As God looked down and smiled at me
from his great golden throne.
He said "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you,
Today your life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew."
"I promise no tomorrow
but today will always last,
And since each day's the same here
there's no longing for the past."
So when tomorrow starts without me
don't think we're far apart,
For everytime you think of me
I'm right here in your heart.
